Sales Attorney for Criminal Defense Firm Full Time

Summary:

• Michael and Associates is a new type of criminal defense firm seeking a Sales/Intake Attorney to help the firm onboard clients.
• The firm is one of the largest in Texas and is now expanding to California.
• The firm applies best practices from the tech industry to revolutionize the legal field.
• The Sales/Intake Attorney is the first point of contact with clients and represents the firm’s brand.

Responsibilities:

• New Client Acquisition: Responsible for a schedule of calls with ~20 pre-qualified potential clients each day, helping them understand their case and signing them up for the firm’s services.
• Develop Deep Expertise: Acquire knowledge of criminal law and the firm’s approach to various cases to confidently answer client questions and display expertise.
• Put PNCs at Ease: Provide comfort to clients going through a stressful time, giving them hope and confidence that the firm is the best choice for their defense.
• Representing the Firm’s Premium Brand: As the first touchpoint, ensure each potential client feels valued and impressed by the firm’s care and dedication.

Requirements:

• You Enjoy Doing Consults and Have Spent at least 1 year selling to new clients: Enjoy talking on the phone and engaging meaningfully with potential clients.
• Great Phone Sales Skills: Friendly, empathetic, confident, and competent in the law, with the ability to handle client inquiries. Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Appropriate License: Active Texas bar license or the plan to get one, or a bar license from another state with at least 5 years of experience (or reciprocity with Texas).
• You Love Being on the Phones: Enjoy speaking with clients and engaging them over the phone daily.

Benefits:

• Competitive Salary Range: $130,000–$200,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
