Salesforce Developer/Admin Full Time

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary evaluation and implementation of platform and security updates and patches.
• Assist in the completion of scheduled infrastructure or software upgrades conducted by Salesforce.
• Monitor services to ensure the fitness of the Salesforce platform and systems supporting NSF daily.
• Create an Operational Verification Checklist for each NSF system that will be verified daily to ensure normal business operations.
• Oversee account administration including activation and deactivation of users and performing password resets.
• Respond to corrective maintenance when an issue is detected in monitoring or when changes occur in the system’s environment impacting performance or causing failure.
• Support scheduled and ad-hoc reporting including determining reporting needs and system capabilities.
• Provide technical support at meetings to discuss and answer questions regarding Salesforce systems, infrastructure, and operations as well as their potential integration with NSF systems, data, and operations.
• Commence corrective maintenance support within two hours of becoming aware of an incident or receiving a request, providing Tiers 2 and 3 support and coordination to respond, research, and restore the failed system to operational status.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and collaborate with users as directed to:
  • Analyze and diagnose Tier 2 tickets.
  • Identify problematic components.
  • Re-create problems, perform root cause analyses, provide problem descriptions, and resolve issues.

Requirements

• BS or BA in CS, CIS, EE, Math, or equivalent technical studies.
• 5 years overall IT experience.
• 3 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its architecture, data model, customization capabilities, and integration points with other systems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools like Process Builder, Flows, and Apex.
• Proactive problem solver with good planning and organization skills.

Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 – $140,000 annually.
