Salesforce Full-Stack Developer – Billing and Revenue Recognition Full Time

Summary:

  • Expedite Commerce is a Salesforce-native Lead-to-Cash SaaS platform offering advanced Digital Engagement, Configure, Price Quote (CPQ), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), eCommerce, and Subscription Billing.
  • The company is accelerating growth through an AI-first approach, improving both customer experience and operational productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & develop robust Salesforce Apex classes/API’s, along with microservices integrating advanced features including AI, building FrontEnd Application components.
  • Focus on delivering premium quality applications with high customer utilization & satisfaction ratings.
  • Act as an individual contributor in areas including Frontend (Vue.js) & Backend (Apex) while working as part of the overall Development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand the broader business & technical requirements while communicating effectively with technical & non-technical stakeholders acting as a subject-matter expert.
  • Effectively utilize data analytics to enhance application functionality, performance, and optimize user experiences in current & subsequent releases.
  • Manage and optimize server interactions within Salesforce environments.
  • Follow security protocols and architecture, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support development and oversee CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration of new features and updates.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Salesforce.com, AI tools including GitHub Copilot, and best practices in e-commerce technology application development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience development on the Salesforce.com platform utilizing synchronous & asynchronous apex.
  • 3+ years experience building applications using any Javascript framework, such as Angular/React/Vue.js.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Billing and Revenue Recognition workflows.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks Online.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SaaS, XaaS, or IoT billing models, with a strong understanding of Recurring, Usage-based and One-time billing.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 standards and the ability to design workflows that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development (LWC, Apex, Visualforce, Flow Builder) and modern development tools such as CI/CD pipelines and Git.
  • Strong understanding of financial workflows, including billing accuracy, scalability, and revenue compliance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Extensive experience managing large data sets within billing and revenue recognition processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to document & collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively using professional-level English.
  • Capabilities leveraging AI technologies to develop and deploy applications within Salesforce cloud environments.
  • Demonstrable capabilities implementing and managing APIs and microservices.
  • Experience with building Salesforce AppExchange products is a plus.
