Security Engineer – Data Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Safeguard information systems by identifying and remediating issues.
• Implement security improvements by analyzing infrastructure.
• Identify technology gaps and develop solutions collaboratively.
• Diagnose system problems and develop high-quality solutions.
• Monitor logs for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Research, plan, and implement new systems technology.
• Introduce latest security issues and requirements to management.
• Identify emerging technology issues, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Act as a technical consultant on security incidents and investigations.
• Experience with SOAR practices, including playbook development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of IT/Technical industry experience.
• 2+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years of Administration/Engineering experience.
• 3+ years working with complex technologies.
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of adversarial tactics and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Exceptional administrative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams worldwide.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly.
• Strong understanding of OS and native applications.
• Familiarity with Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and web technologies.
