Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Data Pipelines with platform services and serverless solutions.
- Develop and test ingestion pipelines from various sources.
- Create data transformations with SQL, Python, PaaS, and third-party tools (e.g., dbt).
- Automate data ingestion and transformation, often with Airflow or similar tools.
- Work in small, agile squads for international clients.
- Assist in scoping sprints and delivering reliable solutions.
- Report to the CTO of the Analytics Engineering team.
- Participate in regular touchpoints with the CTO, expected to be self-sufficient.
Requirements:
- Sound conceptual understanding and practical experience of data modeling and ETL processing, with extensive knowledge of SQL (4+ years).
- Intermediate software development background, preferably in Python or data transformation.
- Some experience with cloud data management, preferably AWS or GCP (batch data management, data storage, transformation).
- Strong technical and business English (oral, reading, and writing).
- Team player with the ability to lead the team and collaborate effectively.
- Proactive in finding solutions.
- Willingness to take ownership of project delivery.
- Eager to learn and improve.
