Senior Application Engineer, Salesforce Marketing Full Time

Responsibilities

• Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions in agile methodology
• Coach peers on Salesforce development throughout project lifecycle
• Build and architect solutions in Journey Builder, Email Studio, etc.
• Understand marketing automation tech and Salesforce integrations
• Develop GDPR & CCPA processes within marketing cloud environments
• Evolve DevOps process with industry trends and best practices
• Manage integration endpoints from Salesforce platform
• Work with large data volumes and build data mapping processes
• Analyze Salesforce technical debt and propose/implement solutions
• Maintain system and code, including security reviews and code reviews
• Provide documentation, training, and insights on Salesforce best practices
• Develop functional specs and designs for complex applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer/Specialist
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, Email Specialist, Developer certifications
• Experience with campaign metrics like conversion and deliverability
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AMP Script
• Knowledge of APIs and external source integration
• Experience or exposure to Marketing Cloud Implementations in Retail
• Proactive attitude towards platform enhancements
• Strong attention to detail, testing skills, and documentation
• Demonstrated success in Agile methodology with tools like Jira
