Senior Art Director Full Time

Summary:

Moniepoint Inc. is Africa’s all-in-one financial ecosystem, serving 10 million businesses and individuals with payments, banking, credit, and business tools. As Nigeria’s largest merchant acquirer, it processes $22 billion monthly. The Senior Art Director will lead visual identity, brand campaigns, and creative execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful design.

Responsibilities:

• Develop bold, innovative visual concepts that differentiate Moniepoint.
• Champion brand aesthetics and design excellence across all outputs.
• Collaborate with copywriters and strategists for cohesive brand narratives.
• Oversee motion graphics, animation, photography, and videography.
• Ensure consistency in typography, color, and visual language across platforms.
• Translate consumer insights into engaging, conversion-driven creative.
• Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging creative technologies.
• Oversee production processes, ensuring high-quality asset optimization.
• Manage external vendors and print houses for flawless execution.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in art direction, design, and visual storytelling (agency or in-house).
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital, print, and motion graphics campaigns.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and design tools.
• Deep knowledge of typography, color theory, and composition.
• Leadership experience mentoring designers.
• Experience in print production and digital asset management.
• Background in directing photoshoots, video productions, and motion graphics.
• Motion graphics/3D design is a plus.
• UX/UI experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
