Summary:

- The Senior AWS Cloud Data Engineer will contribute to the engineering, architecture, and delivery of cloud data services.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in an agile engineering team to deliver new features, resolve issues, and follow best practices.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture development.
- Ensure the defined best practices are followed and help diagnose and resolve issues with deployed systems.
- Become a technical expert for the cloud data platform.
- Evaluate and address technical debt, contribute to platform modernization, and build reliable features.
- Work closely with multiple engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Analyze and update tools and processes when required, measuring key team metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer.
- 5+ years of experience working with AWS services (Redshift, AWS Glue, Lambda, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment with Jira and Confluence.
- 4+ years of experience with ETL tools (MS SSIS or similar).
- 4+ years of experience with source control (GitLab).
- Hands-on experience with databases, complex queries, data modeling, and stored procedures (MS SQL Server and Redshift preferred).
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
