Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and improvements in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
- Take ownership of key parts of the software and develop concepts, advocate for improvements.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams throughout the company to build solutions for opportunities and challenges.
- Continuously improve features by hardening the system through documentation and refinements.
- Take part in recurring team meetings and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Brainstorm, evaluate, and select new initiatives to drive company goals.
- Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health of services.
- Establish and maintain best practices for deployment, scaling, and configuration.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize database performance and ensure data security.
Requirements:
- Intrinsically motivated to own, analyze, and improve core backend parts of a SaaS product.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Experience managing projects and interests from various stakeholders and delivering on time.
- Ability to recognize business-critical bottlenecks and work proactively across the company.
- Proficiency in Node.js and Typescript programming.
- Experience in API production and continuous development.
- Knowledge of SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles.
- Professional experience with MongoDB.
- General understanding of API systems like Rest API.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal), knowledge of German is a plus.
