Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Build efficient, high-quality back-end features using Python.
  • Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.
  • Integrate front-end components into the application.
  • Participate in client meetings and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Create and review development estimates.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  • Follow Agile development methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Python development (essential).
  • Experience with Django is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of database structure and SQL.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (vanilla and/or frameworks).
  • Experience with Git, unit, and integration testing.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD (Docker) and AWS Cloud Services.
  • Proven track record as a software engineer, with an emphasis on engineering skills.
  • Familiar with software life cycle processes and code management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Resourceful problem-solver with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Located in Germany or EU-based.
