Senior Business Analyst Full Time

Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst role at WatchGuard, a global leader in network security and intelligence, involves providing reporting and data analysis to various departments. Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Tableau reports.
• SQL Query writing.
• Take ownership of project requirements and timelines.
• Advise management about business trends using strong analysis skills.
• Monitor data quality for several data pipelines.
• Become subject matter expert on point of sale, discount reserves, product performance and device activation.
• Partner with Leadership, Sales, and Marketing to provide quality, actionable, and efficient reporting/analysis.
• Stay current on product, internal/external partner, and distributor changes.

Requirements:

• Individual must be a team-oriented self-starter with good problem-solving skills and ability to interact positively and successfully with all levels of the company.
• Must be an expert at Microsoft Excel with exceptionally strong formula and data analytics skills.
• Attention to detail and quality control are critical.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High energy level – willingness and desire to do what is needed to get the job done.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technology business, finance or sales/business operations environment required.
• Background in Business Analysis providing insight to senior leadership.
• 3+ Tableau or similar reporting software, including use of parameters, permissions, hierarchies.
• 2+ years SQL. Queries, procedures, and basic database design.
• Experience with million plus datasets.
