Responsibilities:
- Produce actionable BI analytics to inform strategic decisions and align insights with key business metrics.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs.
- Build dashboards, visualizations, and reporting tools to provide clarity into business performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into clear data requirements and actionable insights.
- Maintain and optimize data transformation models in collaboration with data engineering.
- Leverage tools like Databricks to process and analyze large datasets effectively.
- Prepare data for machine learning, including feature engineering and preprocessing.
- Integrate machine learning outputs into BI tools and workflows.
- Develop and execute QA processes to validate data accuracy and reliability.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership by providing data-driven recommendations.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data management, reporting, and analysis.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role.
- Proven track record of delivering insights that impact business outcomes.
- Strong expertise in BI tools and data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Experience with data lakes, data transformation models, and large-scale data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks).
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows and integrating ML outputs into decision-making.
- Ability to build, manage, and scale complex data pipelines.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience establishing processes and driving self-service analytics in a scaling business.
