Senior Data Analyst Full Time

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining the company’s data and analytics dashboards.
• Performing analytics to guide development of new programs or assisting leadership in decision making.
• Promote analytics processes and standards established in the team/company.
• Creating ad hoc client reports as requested by the other departments.
• Aid in continuous improvement in data processing to respond faster to Analytics requests, such as creating simple SQL server views and tables as needed for other teams or an internal project.
• Have strong data troubleshooting or EDA skills to identify inconsistencies and errors in a complex data warehouse.
• Building and maintaining business process documentation related to the role.
• A deep understanding of the PBM industry is key for success, so the role requires willingness to learn and keep up with industry trends.
• Ability to summarize data/insights to business team members in a non-technical manner.
• Constructs data sets, monitors data quality, troubleshoots and resolves database issues to ensure data integrity.
• Utilizes scripting and querying tools like Python, R or SQL, data visualization/BI tools, statistical methods, and data modeling to produce reports, data files, and dashboards.
• Lead small projects independently and promote processes and standards established by the team and organization.
• Collaborates with senior leadership and other departments to identify data-driven opportunities and provide insights that drive business growth.
• Mentor a team of Data Analysts, providing guidance and support to high-quality data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of 4-7 years of professional experience in a data analytics role.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects.
• SQL expert with ability to build complex queries, perform deep dive analytics, build basic views, stored procedures, functions etc.
• Advanced experience with PowerBI and Azure AAS or similar tools.
• Familiarity with complex DAX Development.
• Familiarity with Data Modelling concepts Star-vs-Snowflake Schema and data normalization.
• Familiarity with Enterprise data orchestration architectures like SSIS, ADF, Synapse, Data Lake etc.
• Excel expert for reporting and analytics using – charts and excel formulas.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of Database Concepts and the ability to interact technically with BI Developers and Business Analysts.
