Senior DevOps Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Solve complex platform-related tickets, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
• Automate CI/CD processes to streamline development pipelines.
• Develop automated solutions for recurring ticket issues.
• Implement scripting solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Enhance the stability and reliability of applications, platforms, and underlying infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues, focusing on minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
• Optimize and adjust monitoring systems to ensure proactive issue identification and resolution.
• Develop forward-looking cloud expertise to minimize operational efforts during modernization.
• Work on backlog items related to automation, scripting, and platform adjustments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure improvements with business objectives.
• Share knowledge to build a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in cloud platforms and services.
• Strong experience with Java development.
• Hands-on expertise in databases (DBs) including Oracle and Postgres.
• End-to-end understanding of client-server applications using VMs, Oracle, and Postgres databases.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, with proven experience in automating build and deployment pipelines.
• Skilled in event monitoring and automation frameworks.
• Experience in scripting and creating infrastructure-related solutions.
• Familiarity with support changes during Azure migration.
• Experience transitioning applications such as SWL-C to cloud components (e.g., BOSS already in the cloud).
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem analysis and resolution.
• Ability to troubleshoot and stabilize complex application and platform issues.
• Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are preferred.
