Senior Director, Solutions Engineering (APAC) Full Time

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the APAC region with Sales Leader
• Provide technical leadership to customers and help meet sales targets
• Deliver presentations, demos, and PoV outcomes to customers
• Plan and execute in-depth test plans showing the Wiz platform’s value
• Learn new product features and industry developments
• Represent Wiz in technical forums and industry events
• Lead the technical team and manage hands-on technology tasks
• Act as a trusted advisor for cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Collaborate with global Solutions Engineering leaders on best practices
• Work with sales, marketing, and product management on go-to-market strategies
• Foster a collaborative culture within the APAC Solutions Engineering team
• Manage and mentor Solutions Engineers; set performance expectations

Requirements

• 5+ years leading Solutions Engineers and first-line SE Managers
• Experience recruiting, retaining, and developing a team of skilled SEs
• Partner with sales and product groups for operational excellence
• Experience with Salesforce deal management
• Cloud security experience and familiarity with SOC & CDR
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Network engineering experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, virtual machines, and containers
• Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
• Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys
• Experience with traditional CSPM tools or cloud infrastructure security
• Technical SaaS Selling experience and CI/CD process awareness
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
