Responsibilities
- Create and maintain web-based platforms
- Build and integrate modules and third-party applications
- Build API integrations
- Review code and merge requests for junior developers
- Quote large-scale projects and tasks
- Participate in regular project stand-ups and sprint reviews
- Transfer knowledge and train team members
- Track projects and record time sheets using Jira
- Collaborate with the project team to implement website content, design, and capacity
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements
- Act as an escalation point for the project team
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional web development experience
- Experience with Drupal, WordPress, or other CMSs
- Experience using LAMP-stack technologies
- Familiarity with modern PHP development practices, including PHP 7
- Experience creating custom components for CMS-based websites
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of Git and related processes
- Familiar with SSL and DNS web infrastructure technologies
- Ability to communicate project status and issues to stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to help the team grow and learn
- Highly organized and able to function in a fast-paced environment
