Senior Enterprise Solutions Engineer – French Speaking Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients from early ideation to production planning, contributing energy, ideas, and opinions to solve industry problems.
  • Offer good practice guidance and adopt a deploy-to-production mindset.
  • Work alongside peers with deep subject-matter expertise to solve complex problems.
  • Contribute to the body-of-knowledge in networking, cybersecurity, edge computing, and industry analyses.
  • Support enterprise clients in the Swiss market through technical expertise and collaboration.
  • Provide guidance and feedback on best practices, tailored to client-specific needs.
  • Engage in customer-facing technical work and potentially travel for client meetings and events.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with enterprise clients and organizations in Switzerland.
  • 10+ years of experience in the IT industry (mid-level or senior engineering level).
  • Ability to manage technical validation projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize competing demands.
  • Empathy for customers, quickly identifying challenges and pain points.
  • Strong understanding of how the internet works (TCP/UDP, DNS, firewalls, TLS/SSL, HTTP).
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape for DDoS, CDN, performance, DNS, developer platforms, or Zero-Trust/SASE services.
  • Ability to travel (15-30 days per quarter).
  • Previous experience in a pre-sales SE or consulting role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash) is a bonus.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies such as machine learning, GenAI, DevOps, security operations is desirable.
