Senior Financial Analyst Full Time

Description:

• Develop & manage financial models related to revenue forecasting, expenses, and profitability.
• Analyze financial trends to provide actionable insight.
• Lead complex analyses, prepare detailed forecasts and projections, and provide insights to senior management.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders highlighting KPI’s and the financial health of the organization.
• Build dashboards in Tableau to highlight these key performance metrics.
• Continuously improve BI solutions by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing updates to better serve business needs.
• Optimize the performance of reports, dashboards, and queries to ensure they run efficiently and provide timely insights.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on financial goals.
• When time permits, contribute to cross-departmental analytics projects using their analytics and data-visualization skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience working in financial analytics, budgeting, or related areas. Please note that this experience must be in a working environment and does not include time spent in your studies.
• 7+ years of general accounting experience in a corporate setting.
• Self-starter who has worked in a small business or startup environment.
• Accounting knowledge. Experience with data visualization. Proficiency in building and analyzing financial models, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Demonstrated ability to independently analyze complex data sets, draw meaningful insights, and make data-driven recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically and strategically.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Collaborative team player.
