- The company is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join their team and help build the next-generation wedding platform.
- The Full-Stack Engineer will develop tools and applications across both sides of the marketplace and mobile app, collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product & design).
- The tech stack includes React, Typescript, Node, NextJS, and Firestore with agile software development practices.
- A successful candidate should have experience in developing customer-facing experiences, excellent communication, and organizational skills, with a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction of the team and contribute to Bridebook’s mission.
- Work with stakeholders to deliver software with the right scope.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver a product meeting both business and technical constraints.
- Maintain a secure, scalable, and sustainable backend architecture.
- Monitor and log systems effectively to guide product decisions.
- Guide the direction of the platforms and technologies in use.
- Lead the implementation of automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests to support continuous integration pipelines.
- Mentor and develop team members, maintaining high development standards.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best practices.
- Refine and improve the team’s ways of working.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience with JavaScript, Typescript, React/Redux.
- Strong understanding and experience with Typescript.
- Experience in developing highly performant, interactive web applications using modern frameworks and tools.
- Experience with document stores and non-relational databases (Google Cloud Firestore is a plus).
- Experience working with Capacitor-based web apps.
- Strong understanding of managing and implementing cloud services like AWS and GCP.
- Experience creating and managing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with test automation, source control, and continuous integration.
- Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic.
- Experience delivering in an Agile environment, particularly Scrum.
