Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing a continuous project pipeline to expand the European network.
- Evaluating feasibility, prioritizing projects, and ensuring quality and profitability.
- Identifying and evaluating potential transport corridors and markets based on demand and market analyses.
- Developing a forward-looking network strategy that integrates market analyses and customer requirements to efficiently open new routes and freight corridors.
- Creating detailed analyses and strategic recommendations for the management team.
- Ensuring that all projects align with the company’s goals.
- Developing and implementing clear roadmaps for network initiatives and integrating them into the market launch process.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and presenting strategic decisions and results to the management.
- Building strategic relationships with partners and identifying new collaborations to sustainably strengthen CargoBeamer’s network.
Requirements:
- A successful degree in economics, industrial engineering, transportation economics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in commercial and/or operational roles in the transport or logistics industry, ideally with a focus on network planning or intermodal transport solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of project management and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly and understandably present complex topics.
- Very good German and English skills (C1 level) in both written and spoken language.
