Senior HR Generalist Full Time

Summary:

  • The Senior HR Generalist will serve as an employee champion, executing people programs to improve engagement, performance, and culture.
  • The role will partner with the Director of People & Culture to support performance management, recruitment, manager enablement, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Focused on corporate organizations, including Commercial, Technology, Finance, and Legal departments.
  • Looking for a proactive, team-first candidate with strong relationship-building skills to support a positive culture.

Responsibilities:

People Program Management (50%)

  • Execute and assist in the design and implementation of performance management systems to encourage accountability and professional growth.
  • Facilitate talent and performance reviews through effective manager training and enablement.
  • Partner with Director P&C to assess and improve performance management systems, including assessments and feedback structures.
  • Identify skill gaps, build sustainable learning programs, and manage Culture Committee and ERGs.
  • Facilitate recognition strategies and actively participate in onboarding processes, including 90-day onboarding plans.
  • Execute engagement activities and collaborate with P&C to integrate core values into company practices.

Talent Acquisition (30%)

  • Lead hiring processes, including kickoff meetings, weekly syncs with hiring managers, and interview debriefs.
  • Lead offer processes, handle negotiations, and ensure internal equity.
  • Advise candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Improve hiring processes and programs for scalability.
  • Assist with change management initiatives and build internship or co-op programs.

HRG Support (20%)

  • Facilitate compensation planning, including internal equity, promotions, and benchmarking.
  • Ensure data integrity in HRIS and company org charts, perform audits as needed.
  • Assist with planning team offsites and content development for employee training programs.
  • Facilitate exit interviews, stay interviews, and employee 1:1s, providing feedback for culture improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in corporate organizations, ideally DTC but not required.
  • Experience in executing people programs, including onboarding, learning & development, and performance management.
  • Interest in advancing to HR Business Partner, People Program Manager, or similar roles.
  • Proactive, with a strong problem-solving approach and regular employee feedback gathering.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage up with discretion and diplomacy.
