Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex, large-scale systems.
- Write APIs that integrate with various cloud providers and partners.
- Own key software feature areas and their architectural design.
- Implement software with a high level of independence and impact.
- Work on integrating with key partners and building key functionality for the system.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex, highly-scalable, distributed applications and systems.
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript/NodeJS.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud infrastructure/deployment tools (specifically with cluster operations and operators).
- Experience building platforms from an early stage and scaling platforms to handle large user bases (10,000+ DAU).
- Extensive system-design experience, especially with complex data sets/relations.
- Experience with distributed systems/platforms.
- Experience implementing multi-tenant systems.
- Strong architectural thinking, focusing on how the code fits into the architecture.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, strong sense of ownership, and drive.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in high-energy startups with fast product delivery mechanisms.
