- Seeking a Senior Specialist, People Advisory & Operations to handle HR operations and contribute to strategic HR projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide HR advisory and support to employees on HR matters like policies, benefits, performance, and career development.
- Address employee queries and issues promptly and effectively to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Advise on the application of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent and fair treatment of employees.
- Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
- Identify potential HR risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Understand HR process chains and responsibilities within People operations, from an employee lifecycle perspective.
- Work closely with vendors for payroll, taxation, and benefit administration in remote countries.
- Manage work permit applications, immigration matters, and employee dashboards/reports.
- Maintain accurate HR data in HRIS and ensure timely reporting and analytics.
- Represent the company during audits and regulatory checks.
- Develop and implement efficient HR processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR teams to support HR-related initiatives.
- Lead or support HR projects related to process improvement, automation, employee engagement, and strategic initiatives.
- Manage HR aspects of organizational changes, including communication, training, and transition support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR advisory, people operations, or a similar role.
- Proven experience managing HR operational processes, projects, and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and HR metrics for decision-making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google tools (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive).
- Familiarity with HRIS and other HR technologies; experience with HR process automation preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and across functions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to take ownership and lead initiatives with minimal supervision.
