Responsibilities:
- Manage security design and installation projects across the world.
- Oversee all project aspects from initial engagement to completion.
- Develop project security scope, schedule, and critical deliverables.
- Manage project status, tasks, and issues.
- Prepare, issue, and manage RFP documents for security systems installation.
- Evaluate RFP responses and prepare evaluation reports.
- Perform security site evaluations and review design concepts.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define use cases and verify functional requirements.
- Produce a security functional specification for the project.
- Review design documentation for compliance with security and technical standards.
- Log and resolve design corrections as required.
- Keep clients informed of project status, budget, and schedule.
- Serve as primary security point of contact for project teams.
- Attend design, project management, and construction meetings.
- Manage site activation activities for physical security.
- Coordinate security systems procurement and installation with design teams.
- Produce project status reports and weekly issue reviews.
- Conduct on-site inspections during construction and final testing.
- Review all security system design documentation for compliance.
- Oversee the delivery of shop drawings and close-out documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of security design and installation project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Detailed knowledge of access control system hardware, wiring standards, installation methods, and programming.
- Working knowledge of Lenel OnGuard and basic programming functions (preferred).
- Certification in S2 or Lenel Access Control Systems (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Proficiency in Studio and Bluebeam (preferred).
- Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, SharePoint, and QuickBase.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to identify critical path activities and prioritize tasks effectively.
