Summary:
- The Senior Proposals Analyst will manage the full proposal lifecycle, including sourcing, strategy development, proposal management, submission, and post-submission.
- This role requires excellent written communication skills to contribute to multiple simultaneous proposal projects.
- Experience with Adobe, G Suite, and content management tools like Loopio is essential.
- The position involves contributing to proposal creation, aligning with client requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure proposal success.
Responsibilities:
- Understand response strategy and develop expertise in Newsela’s product suite to successfully position the company.
- Lead end-to-end proposal creation for RFPs, ensuring alignment with client requirements, timelines, and company objectives.
- Draft, edit, and format proposal content with an emphasis on clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Leverage Loopio to craft compelling, accurate, and comprehensive responses.
- Ensure timely delivery of proposals, meeting deadlines without compromising quality or compliance.
- Maintain accountability for the entire proposal lifecycle from intake to final submission.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Legal teams to gather input for proposal development.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders to ensure timely proposal reviews and approvals.
- Facilitate proposal kickoff meetings, brainstorming sessions, and post-mortem reviews.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on proposal outcomes and insights.
- Develop and maintain a centralized repository of reusable content, templates, and proposal-related resources.
- Contribute to the refinement of RFP response systems and improve efficiency in responses.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience managing the full proposal lifecycle, including proposal writing in education or a related field.
- Experience with proposal management software such as Loopio.
- Previous experience with proposal responses to SLED markets, with a strong portfolio in K-12.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Experience with Google Suite, Word, Excel, Adobe DC/Pro, and Salesforce.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
