Senior Python Developer Full Time

Summary:

9HDIGITAL is a Malta-based organization with operations in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, providing technology-enabled digital marketing services. The company is looking for a skilled Senior Python Developer to join their growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong Python experience, a proactive problem-solving approach, and a collaborative mindset for building scalable applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services.

  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers.

  • Develop back-end microservices components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production environments.

  • Write and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience with Python.

  • Excellent English skills are required.

  • Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns.

  • Experience with one or more Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).

  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

  • Proficient with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Basic understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud services is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Experience with front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Exposure to unit testing and TDD.
