Senior QA Engineer Full Time

Summary:

Acronis, a global cyber protection leader, seeks a Senior QA Engineer to ensure quality for Acronis Cyber Cloud solutions. This remote role involves manual testing, defect analysis, and collaboration with R&D teams to safeguard business data worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze product requirements and communicate with product teams

• Develop test designs, cases and checklists

• Prepare and maintain test environments

• Execute manual functional testing (web/desktop/mobile)

• Report and process defects with detailed investigations

• Prepare automation scenarios and collaborate with automation team

• Analyze customer issues and identify root causes

• Participate in technical discussions with R&D teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience

• 2+ years QA experience

• Strong QA methodology knowledge

• HTTP/Web services/REST API understanding

• Proficiency in Linux/Windows system configuration

• Virtualization systems experience (Virtuozzo, ESX, Hyper-V)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Fluent English communication skills

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Python scripting knowledge

• Experience with Jira, TestRail, Git

• Understanding of computer architecture/IT security

• Container-based virtualization experience
