Responsibilities
- Actively drive and run the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
- Develop and continually refine deep Neo4j product knowledge
- Provide informational Neo4j presentations and live software demonstrations
- Participate in functional and technical discovery sessions
- Lead white-boarding sessions to map requirements to Neo4j capabilities
- Craft proposed Neo4j solution architectures for customer requirements
- Develop Neo4j prototypes to showcase support for customer requirements
- Address competitive differentiation and technical objection-handling
- Facilitate solution knowledge transfer to Neo4j Consulting and industry partners
- Support local marketing events and participate in the Neo4j Community
Requirements
- Ability to engage and communicate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Technical savviness and business acumen for valuable business outcomes
- Graph database experience (Neo4j, TigerGraph, MemGraph, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Successful track record in data solutions in the public cloud or on-premise
- Visualization knowledge (D3, Sigma.js, viz.js, etc.) is a plus
- Client-facing experience with data requirements gathering and solution architectures
- Soft skills: effective communication, listening, attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment
- Industry vertical experience is a plus (Financial Services, Retail, etc.)
- Proficient written and spoken English communication skills
- 7+ years prior software pre-sales or client-facing experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
- Ability to work independently and remotely in a cross-functional organization
- Ability and willingness to travel
