- The Senior Sales Engineer role is an integral part of increasing the Sales Team’s effectiveness, productivity, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Partner and strategize with Enterprise Account Executives for discovery calls, product demonstrations, POC support, and onsite meetings.
- Provide customized demonstrations of the Motive product offering to prospects across multiple roles.
- Match customer pains and requirements to proposed solutions.
- Become an expert on Motive’s competition and provide expertise for displacement deals.
- Serve as a product expert, with knowledge of both the current product offering and roadmap.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives to respond to RFIs and RFPs.
- Act as a sales liaison between multiple internal teams including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years working with Enterprise-level sales prospects in a pre-sales/sales engineering capacity (SaaS and Hardware experience is a plus).
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Bachelor’s of Science preferred, MS a plus.
- Ability to travel approximately 30%.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Consistent track record of selling complex solutions.
- Experience with Enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience in the Transportation & Logistics industry is a plus.
- Experience with APIs and integrations.
