Build product features using a TypeScript-first stack (Next.js frontend, Node.js/Express/Postgres backend) hosted on AWS.
Work on tech debt by incorporating it into regular work and periodically focus on tech debt-only phases.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless product integration and upgrades.
Experiment with different technology stacks and roles, such as working on iOS apps or Docker images.
Use AI tools like Cursor and ChatGPT to automate repetitive tasks and improve work efficiency.

5+ years of full-stack experience in building and supporting software in production.
Proficient in building REST-based web services using Node.js, TypeScript, and OpenAPI.
Strong experience in system design, including new system creation and refactoring older systems.
Knowledge of robust test patterns for CI/CD builds and post-deployment verification.
Solid understanding of relational databases, including data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization (Postgres).
Legally residing in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, or Prince Edward Island.
