Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to EvolutionIQ’s unified claims platform, working closely with data science, machine learning, and frontend data engineering teams to build robust, scalable, and high-quality data pipelines.
• Own the entire lifecycle of designing, building, and launching enterprise systems.
• Play a key role in shaping the future of EvolutionIQ’s products, including technology choices and roadmap building.
• Provide technical expertise, introduce best practices, and drive consistency across teams.
• Prioritize features to increase client impact.
• Grow and learn while solving large-scale structured and unstructured data problems.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience going through the full feature development lifecycle, including product scope, data models, and pipeline architecture.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, with expertise in Python and SQL development.
• Experience designing, building, and launching backend architectures for multi-tenant and multi-user scenarios with pipeline performance and data quality checks.
• Agile mindset to balance rapid prototyping with production development.
• Ability to write technical design documents, conduct code reviews, and maintain engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in analyzing client business problems and showing the impact of technical solutions.
• Team player with solutions-oriented mindset and aligned values of ambition, collaboration, and empathy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter eager to solve complex and unsolved problems.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on enabling data-driven decisions.
