Senior Software Engineer (Remote) – React, Node Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL.
  • Contribute to the codebase hosted on AWS.
  • Stay intellectually curious and up to date on technical best practices.
  • Design and architect new applications using cutting-edge technology.
  • Work collaboratively in a team and perform as a productive teammate.
  • Communicate frequently and openly, help others deliver more effectively, and embrace team standards.
  • Develop an understanding of the overall product and platform, and how your work fits into the development pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of software development experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems autonomously.
  • Proficiency with full-stack front-end and back-end frameworks and languages.
  • 2+ years of experience with ReactJS.
  • 2+ years of experience with NodeJS.
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • 2+ years of experience designing and architecting scalable applications.
  • Passion for writing great code that helps people.
  • Experience with common design patterns and object-oriented development.
  • Experience working in an agile development process.
  • Fluent in English, with strong grammatical skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
