Senior Software Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Build and improve payment and money access systems.
• Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering managers.
• Assist customer support with issue resolution.
• Develop cross-border access for users in West Africa.
• Integrate with utility companies for bill payments.
• Enable businesses to accept payments via Wave app.
• Support payment options for transportation services.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Ability to question code quality for user satisfaction.
• Willingness to learn and solve complex problems.
• Strong communication with diverse colleagues.
• Commitment to making code more maintainable.
• Desire to improve as a programmer and colleague.
• Interest in understanding tools’ inner workings.
