Senior Software Test Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Proactively join testing activities and support the team members to solve the technical difficulties.
• Define test strategy and provide technical guidance in driving quality in new feature development.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze the business requirements and estimate, plan, and design the testing and verification to guard the product.
• Develop & lead the automation strategy/effort and generate & maintain scripts to perform automated testing cycles.
• Identify, analyze, and document any defects discovered during testing and provide fine-tuning recommendations.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, low-structure, constantly changing atmosphere and prioritizing work appropriately.

Requirements:

• Graduated from Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Software Engineering departments.
• 2+ years of software testing or software automation testing experience.
• Ability to plan and coordinate different test phases (preparation, execution, test result comparison).
• Experience in using work management, task/bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Familiar with agile methodologies and able to work effectively in these processes.
• Experience with basic SQL servers or other relational databases.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Postman, TestNG, Cucumber, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience in Performance, Security, and Mobile Application Testing is a plus.
• Knowledge in one or more of Linux, Docker, DevOps (CI/CD, Jenkins), Source Control Systems (Git, SVN), Computer networking, etc. is a plus.
• Experience in one or more of programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, C#, etc.) is a plus.
• ISTQB certificate is a plus.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving with good analytical skills.
• Eager to learn new technologies and new products.
