Senior Vue.js Frontend Developer Freelance

Summary:

  • This role is fully remote, you can be located anywhere in Europe and UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Join a team of 4 experienced Frontend Developers and contribute to the development of new features.
  • Collaborate with Design, Backend, and Ops teams to develop features.
  • Contribute to unit/E2E testing, bug fixing, documentation, etc.
  • Review pull requests submitted by colleagues.
  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Participate in discussions that have a team/company-wide impact.
  • Work in feature teams and closely collaborate with Design, Backend, DevOps, QA, or Marketing teams on projects.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer.
  • Open-minded, knowledgeable, and friendly personality.
  • Ability to take on big tasks and get hands dirty.
  • Good balance between autonomy and working collectively in a team.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with any modern JavaScript framework.
  • Strong understanding of modern CSS, HTML, and JS.
  • Unit testing experience (Jest preferred, but others are useful).
  • Good knowledge of git and GitHub (code reviews, rebasing, cherry-picking, etc.).
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working remotely.
  • Nice to have: experience in migrating from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
  • Experience with Webpack, E2E testing (e.g., Cypress), CI/CD tools, and SVG-based libraries (e.g., D3).
  • DevOps knowledge or interest.
  • Contributions to the open-source community are a plus.
