Summary:
KIOXIA America, Inc. is seeking a skilled SharePoint Software Developer to design, develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint portals using .NET and modern graphic design technologies. The role involves enhancing portal capabilities, ensuring the maintenance and testing of MOSS portals, and developing workflows. The developer will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to US digital standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2016 and SharePoint Online.
- Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes.
- Maintains confidentiality and protects operational data by adhering to security and information protection policies.
- Develop clear, concise functional and design specifications as well as user-friendly end-user documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years in SharePoint Application development role required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, MIS or Computer Engineering or related degree desired.
- Functional/Technical experience and able to work with business users is required.
- Experience in software development lifecycle is required.
- Programming using .NET 4.5, C#, ASP.NET, PL/SQL, XML, JavaScript, REST API, and PowerShell Script required.
- Ability to utilize SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and Power Automate to build workflows required.
- Experience in SharePoint Development in analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications required.
- Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services required.
- SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online Designing and Developing Applications certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to write stored procedures, write SQL queries, and ability to analyze data is desired.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services, and Power BI development is a plus.
