Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis to identify and categorize threats such as phishing and malware
- Perform investigations into large-scale cyber threats using analytical techniques
- Identify and communicate emerging threat patterns clearly
- Prepare reports on advanced threats with insights for remediation
- Resolve service tickets within established timelines
- Engage customers through email and phone, offering guidance on threat detection
- Cultivate expertise in the product suite and demonstrate threat mitigation
- Share critical information with team members to enhance operational processes
- Assist in developing and documenting SOC processes and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles like SOC Analyst or Penetration Tester
- 2+ years of experience in threat analysis
- 1+ year of experience with EDR solutions
- Experience in MSP, MSSP, or MDR environments preferred
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity threats like phishing and malware
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud applications like Office 365, G-Suite, AWS preferred
