Responsibilities:
- Solving complex problems that arise at scale. We deal with real-world money movement, sensitive financial data at scale, and are creating novel financial mechanics with no real precedent.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD tooling to safeguard against unsafe code changes.
- Optimizing canary rollouts, and streamlining release processes.
- Proactively identifying and implementing significant improvements in deployment efficiency and development velocity, impacting the entire engineering organization.
- Design and develop internal tools, libraries, and systems to enhance developer productivity and streamline engineering workflows.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of engineering experience and proven skills in building secure, reliable platforms.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript, or another language commonly used for tooling).
- An understanding of what good code delivery looks like, the challenges that arise, and a dedication to solving them.
- Experience building tools that make it easier for engineering teams to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve the developer experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- A relentless focus on securing sensitive financial data, and ensuring platform reliability and performance.
- A proactive ownership mentality, constantly improving platform resilience and efficiency, especially in the fast-paced fintech environment. We have a bias toward taking action.
