Software Engineer – Java Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain industry-leading APIs supporting high-availability distributed applications.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team, ensuring ownership of services and related technology.
• Contribute to new platform development using cloud-native, microservice concepts with high scalability.
• Work with AWS, Kubernetes, and Jenkins-X to migrate applications and embrace a microservice-led, event-based architecture using Kafka.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Java backend development.
• Proficiency in functional Java (versions 11+), REST, and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of public cloud (AWS), Docker, RabbitMQ, and EKS.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Nice to have: Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming tools.
