Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure Full Time

Summary:

Serve Robotics is seeking a Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure to join its ML Infra team. The role focuses on building and scaling data pipelines, training systems, and orchestration tools to support machine learning and autonomy development for a growing fleet of sidewalk delivery robots operating in urban environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data processing pipelines for data curation, annotation, search, and ML feature extraction.

• Build and improve active learning pipelines, training job scalability, and inference endpoints.

• Maintain orchestration and scheduling systems.

• Collaborate with autonomy engineers to improve data platform features.

• Build integrations with annotation providers for large-scale dataset labeling.

• Implement infrastructure using IaC and CI/CD for continuous development.

• Create monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability and cost efficiency.

• Accelerate ML development velocity in collaboration with ML engineers.

• Work with the data team to ensure data SLAs and optimize storage cost efficiency.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, focusing on data engineering and machine learning.

• 2+ years of experience developing big data or ML pipelines.

• 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Proficient in Python.

• Strong understanding of system design and distributed computing.
