Software Engineer, SW-Specialist, Systems at Meta Full Time

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop software interfaces for off-the-shelf and custom sensors.
• Maintain features like user experience, membership, personalization, social sharing.
• Conduct technical design and code reviews.
• Produce clean, efficient code following engineering standards.
• Apply real-time perception systems knowledge for software development.
• Develop positive working relationships with various roles.
• Build software, tools, infrastructure, documentation, and other systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and tools across Meta.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Entertainment Technology, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4 years of experience in Unity and C#.
• Experience with 3D engine systems (graphics rendering, audio, physics, animation).
• Knowledge of software development practices (source control, unit testing, debugging).
• Experience with Unity, Unreal, or other game engines.
• Working on live applications at scale, including high-frequency shipping cycles.
• Experience with client platforms (game consoles, mobile devices, VR headsets).
• Developing iOS or Android applications and using reactive programming frameworks.
