Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of 2-5 software engineers.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
  • Take ownership of the product or project, ensuring quality standards, deadlines, and user requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate expertise in PHP, Symfony (or similar), microservices, domain-driven design, hexagonal architecture, and CI/CD.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance development workflows.
  • Work in an Agile and Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Promote professional development within the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior software engineer or team lead with a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and Symfony (or similar), and experience with microservices, domain-driven design, and hexagonal architecture.
  • Proficiency in Git, Gitlab, and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and successful leadership of Agile development teams.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on mentoring and coaching.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and ownership for project success, quality, and client satisfaction.
