Summary:

Deckers Brands seeks a Senior Director for HOKA Retail in North America to drive strategic direction, growth, and profitability in the retail operations. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive retail strategy for North America.
  • Identify growth opportunities, including new store openings, market expansions, and e-commerce integration.
  • Oversee the financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Drive profitability through effective cost management, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing retail management team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure a customer-centric approach in all retail operations.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the in-store experience and strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of retail initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new store openings in key markets.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability in a multi-store environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the North American retail market and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and omnichannel environment.
  • Passion for the performance footwear industry and a deep understanding of the HOKA brand’s ethos.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of retail leadership experience, with a focus on the performance footwear industry.
