Sr. Internal Auditor (ITGC and Finance SOX) Full Time

Responsibilities

• Develop next-generation audit practices for internal audit
• Track and evaluate management’s response and corrective actions
• Stay current with regulatory requirements impacting the organization
• Support internal audit plan with financial, operational, and compliance audits
• Develop audit reports for an executive-level audience
• Prepare internal audit materials for Senior Management and Audit Committee
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business unit management
• Work with external audit and co-sourcing firms to maximize reliance
• Serve as an advisory function to business partners for risk mitigation
• Manage and perform ad-hoc investigations/audits/reviews
• Communicate with process owners about controls and Internal Audit
• Promote new ideas for process or technology improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in accounting/finance
• Minimum seven years of internal audit experience
• At least three years in IT industry audit preferred
• Public accounting experience is preferred
• Proven project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven with ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in Google Suite or MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with out-sourced/co-sourced internal audit function is a plus
• Understanding of IT industry and auditing information systems
• Professional Internal Audit/IT Audit qualification preferred
• Knowledge of audit methodologies and frameworks
• Chartered Accountant/CPA/CIA certification preferred
• Excellent understanding of data analysis techniques
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP principles
