Responsibilities:
- Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices.
- Analyzing reports to ensure customer purchases are billed accurately.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings.
- Sorting and scanning incoming mail to ensure invoices are received and entered.
- Reviewing and coding administrative invoices in the online AP system.
- Managing vendors (adding new vendors, requesting and receiving W-9s).
- Approving employee expenses to reconcile corporate credit cards.
- Gathering information and assisting in the preparation of state and local sales tax returns.
- Other duties and special projects as requested by management.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of accounting experience or closely related field.
- Firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Experience with NetSuite is a big plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Self-motivated and proactive in completing tasks.
- Willingness to learn and thrive in a constantly evolving environment.
