Staff Accountant I Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Maintain schedules and prepare journal entries.
• Responsible for monthly reconciliation of accounts.
• Provide analyses and explanations of transactions.
• Answer accounting and financial questions.
• Manage expense review for Concur reimbursements.
• Manage expense review for monthly AMEX charges.
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of policies.
• Assist with the annual audit as needed.
• Adhere to all compliance regulations and policies.
• Understand and enforce NSPC policies and privacy rules.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Three years of experience in accounting field.
• Proficient in Word and Excel skills.
• Experience with Great Plains software preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite software preferred.
• Experience with full cycle GAAP accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand financial reports.
• Willingness to maintain effective working relationships.
