Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems
- Craft efficient code with synchronous and asynchronous patterns
- Lead migration and optimization of tech stack
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical and business goals
- Create technical documentation including design decisions
- Participate in on-call rotation and handle production incidents
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with distributed systems and microservices
- 7+ years of experience in Java, including concurrency and threading
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases like MySQL
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Experience with on-call for high-scale systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
