Staff Test Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test strategies.
• Build tools, processes, and systems for feedback loops.
• Help teams understand code quality and product risk.
• Write, run, and maintain automated tests.
• Identify gaps in test coverage.
• Guide other test engineers and teams in testing.
• Work with product, design, UX, and engineering teams.
• Manage software ship logistics and CI pipeline.
• Contribute to team culture and mentor junior engineers.
• Advocate for Testing and Quality.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software automation.
• 3+ years in testing scalable services.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of pytest, junit, and automation tools.
• Experience with testing infrastructure setup.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.
• Detail-oriented in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to analyze complex software problems.
• Navigate large codebases and manage Git repositories.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to break down complex tasks and delegate.
