SVP, Content Operations Full Time

Summary:

• Dodge is the leading data and analytics provider for the U.S. commercial construction industry, supporting thousands of companies in the construction ecosystem.
• The SVP, Content Operations will lead a team of 300+ internal and third-party staff responsible for sourcing, curating, enhancing, and delivering high-quality data about companies, projects, and products.
• The role focuses on driving operational efficiencies and optimizing the budget for employees, third-party staff, process management tools, and external data vendors.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep curiosity about customer needs, new technologies, and data sources, as well as a strong focus on execution and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the Product team to understand how key customer segments use and assess Dodge content.
• Identify content gaps and high-impact content-related enhancements.
• Integrate qualitative and quantitative customer feedback into content acquisition and management strategies.
• Oversee the acquisition, curation, processing, and enrichment of project, company, and other data to meet product and customer standards.
• Ensure content is structured and stored for easy access and scalability.
• Implement governance frameworks for consistency, accuracy, and security of acquired data.
• Establish processes for data quality checks and validation.
• Manage data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant laws.
• Stay ahead of trends in the data-as-a-service industry and implement innovative solutions.
• Manage and improve the data pipeline for efficient data delivery.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of data acquisition managers and operational staff.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Drive the professional growth of the team.
• Partner with CTO to optimize process tools and leverage new technologies.
• Collaborate with CFO to set and manage the annual budget.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for data content acquisition and delivery.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on data content performance.
• Monitor data operations for inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage third-party vendors and ensure they meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant work history.
• Proven experience with data-driven B2B companies (e.g., information services).
• Strong people leadership skills for direct reports and large organizations.
• Experience managing large (100+) distributed internal and third-party teams.
• Deep curiosity, persistence to execute, and ability to drive operational outcomes.
• Experience setting and achieving ambitious operational outcomes/KPIs.
• Strong understanding of how technology systems can improve process efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree a plus.
