Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Install and administer a high number of SharePoint Servers (SharePoint 2016, 2019, and SE).
- Apply “cumulative updates” (CUs) to SharePoint Servers as required.
- Create, maintain, and extend automation scripts based on PowerShell.
- Administer SharePoint applications in the backend.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support, including communication with 3rd level support.
- Handle disturbances (incident handling, error analysis, error correction).
- Manage tools for the systems in regular operations.
- Process requests within regular operations and manage patching.
- Maintain and further develop technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Fluent in German and proficient in English.
- Microsoft SharePoint Server product knowledge: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016/2019/SE (certificate or resume).
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a recognized IT-related vocational qualification, or equivalent work experience in the IT field.
- Experience in planning, implementing, and operating Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016/2019/SE infrastructures.
- Experience with IIS configuration, search configuration, content database management, and Managed Metadata Services (MMS) configuration.
- Experience with SharePoint Multifarm structures and troubleshooting in the SharePoint backend.
- Experience with Microsoft Server 2019/2022 infrastructure, including Failover Cluster Manager and VmWare vSphere Client.
- Ability to create and develop complex PowerShell scripts.
- Familiarity with administration tools for SharePoint such as SharePoint LogViewer, Log Parser Studio, PnP PowerShell, Notepad++, Visual Studio Code, PowerShell extension for Visual Studio Code, SharePoint Search Query Tool, SharePoint Manager, SPDocKit, SysKit Insights.
